Cookies and storage
For the site to work, a single setting may be stored persistently in your browser: the chosen language. In addition, on the THE CAN data request page, a local copy of your entries and the login session identifier are kept in the temporary storage of the browser tab (sessionStorage) and are deleted when the tab is closed. For visitor statistics, the site uses the aggregated measurement of Cloudflare Web Analytics, which according to Cloudflare uses no cookies and stores no data in the browser. The list below is based on a technical measurement of the current build.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Created | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|---|
reg-lang | localStorage | Remembers the chosen language | When you choose a language | Until you clear browser data |
thecan-adatbekero-v1 | sessionStorage | Local copy of your data request form entries | When you fill in the data request form | Until the browser tab is closed |
thecan-adb-sess | sessionStorage | Session identifier for the data request login | When you log in with the e-mail code | Until logout, submission or closing the tab, at most 12 hours |
According to the measurement, the site does not set cookies.
For invitation-only login, the status of the code and of the request (time, successful or failed attempt, IP hash) is logged on the server.

For the login of invited users, the admin and ERP interface (admin.realenergy.group) uses the security session cookies of Cloudflare Access (for example CF_AppSession). These are created only when the admin interface is opened, not for visitors of the website.
